At work & comparing with social

Worst workplace to be in: If it's run as a workplace that forces workers to be on the front line fielding customer complaints and politely resolving an endless series of petty, day-to-day issues.

Compared to social: Scale 1 - 8. 1&2 Excellent; 3&4 Good; 5&6 Fair; 6&7 Poor.

High S with High D: Work: 1. Social: 6.

High S with High I: Work: 1. Social: 5.

High S with High C: Work: 2. Social: 1.5.

Jobs and tasks: Getting things right. Analysing information in a detached and subjective way; Collecting and keeping track of data; Managing projects; Doing budgets and overseeing them; Instructing; Finding more efficient ways of doing things; Controlling information; Applying principles consistently; Doing cost-benefit analyses; Improving; Focusing on what needs to be done now.

Promptness: Late. Sometimes struggle to see the importance of being on time and dislike being forced to fit into a tight schedule. Enjoy their freedom and do not want to feel rushed or pressured by others. Dislike being disrespectful though and will show up on time if it is important to a loved one. Other than those rare occurrences, will likely be late for certain events. They do not do this on purpose, but simply become distracted by what is directly in front of them. Their desire to live in the present moment causes a dislike of being forced to pull away from something.

Fulfilling Commitments: The Achiever can be a little bit hesitant when it comes to commitments and will often avoid them. They prefer to feel free to make their own choices and committing to something removes this option. The Achiever dislikes feeling locked down by their choices and sometimes has a fear of missing out. They prefer to make choices as they go instead of committing to something long term. When the Achiever stumbles upon something or someone that is very important to them, they will be capable of making the appropriate commitments.

In a Meeting: Hostile.

Under Pressure: Achievers can certainly handle pressure since they do not let themselves become too stressed by it. They are in control of their own emotions and try not to become overwhelmed. They make most of their decisions in the moment and do not mind having to respond quickly. Achievers are well aware that life is about making mistakes so they are not afraid to make a few in order to learn and grow.

In the Personal Space

How others are judged: Factual Judgeology™. Judgments come from a factual and not a personal place. They do not make emotional judgments but rather pick up on certain behaviours that prove their judgments. They notice people’s behaviours and their actions and make decisions based on that. With a good memory will take into account all of the actions of others. If someone proves to be stupid by constantly saying stupid things, they realize that this person is probably stupid. These judgments are not made with emotion and are usually correct. It doesn’t make them treat this person poorly, it just means they will take note of it in the future.

Cause of anxiety: When you are being held responsible for others.

Shyness Gauge™ (Out of the 16 patterns. Scale: Lower number is more shy: 6/16

When ill: Takes enough medication to get a little high and then relishes in the excuse to stay home and play video games.

At the shopping mall: In the Apple store trying out all the new tech. Won’t be satisfied until they catch a glimpse of the new watches.

As the gift buyer: Picks out the tech gadget they’ve been secretly wanting to try out. Gives it to someone who they know will let them play with it.

What they want as a gift: Practical tools, Affection from romantic partner, An experience, High quality food and drinks, Quality socks, Technological gadgets, Cash.

What sort of holiday: A long distance trail with harmony above all else on this holiday.

What sort of clothes do they wear - male: Many may prefer to dress in a casually stylish and comfy way. They may dress in a lot of sporty apparel like jerseys, caps and Adidas track jackets. They may enjoy wearing novel tees that showcase their particular subculture such as Star Wars or Harry Potter. Baggy pants, cargo pants and ripped or jeans with a rugged or faded look may be examples of things they might wear. They like to dress in a slightly working class style rather than wear crisp professional or pretentious attire.

What sort of clothes do they wear - female: Stays out of the limelight for the most part but is a quick problem-solver. A jean jacket is the perfect third piece for a fuss-free and fashionable outfit.

As a house guest: As Host: Let me tidy up first. As Guest: I may well just dive in and fix broken stuff. I'll want to be entertained and I will exhaust you.

Contents of wardrobe (fun perspective):
A custom-made sensor scans them as they open the door; picks out the perfect outfit and then hands it to you.

In a relationship / dating:
Relationship Need – Understanding and Independence. Red Flag if you hear this - "I heard the juiciest gossip today! X cheated on Y with Z!" Not negotiable with the partner - Insecurity. Biggest Strength - Adventurous. Ideal Date Activities - Anything that involves danger. Racing, sky diving, surfing, motorcycling. Will be seeking - Short term dating. Target area priority - LOVABLE - 38%; ROMANTIC 22%; SEXUAL 40%. Soulmate - Director.

Compatibility: Click here.

At the bar: Becomes the impulsive daredevil.

In the bedroom: No Emotion Bedroomer. You have a relatively high sex drive and are able to see sex in just the physical terms. You do not scoff at the idea of sex without a deep connection, but you probably agree that it adds another element to the sexual experience. You view sex in the highly chemical sense and are drawn to people you are physically attracted to. You are often very visually stimulated and enjoy what is aesthetically pleasing. You usually see sexual encounters as an outlet and do not require an emotional connection.

Dalliance or not? May have a more flexible attitude when it comes to how the game of relationships should be played. Even though they are prone to jealousy and fear of being cheated on, they may develop a dog-eat-dog perspective that may in their minds justify engaging in infidelity if they anticipate their partner might do the same if given the same opportunity. Top 5 Rank = 5.

How they deal with clutter: Succumb to Clutter. When eventually you notice how cluttered things are, you take care of the mess quickly, efficiently and on a no frills basis. You will be puzzled if another party to all this is an Agent, as they will want to brainstorm possible approaches as you get back to what you were previously doing. Achievers are keen observers. They are skilled at watching and waiting but when a problem arises they know how to fix it ASAP. They loathe wasting time, so apps can make sure they are making the most of their days and not losing time in the weeds.

What sort of kitchen: The Fixer-Upper Kitchen. You are hands-on, detail-oriented and a keen observer. Are there cabinets to be repainted? Appliances to be fixed? New lighting to be wired? You're on to it. Where's the fun in a finished kitchen? It's all creating something with your own two hands.

What religion: 36.71% of this pattern are religious. Rank: 11/16. Likely religion: Extreme Fundamentalist Islam.

Problems with faith / religion: Having faith for this pattern is often truly challenging since they rely more on facts. It can be a bit difficult for them to believe in the things they cannot see, especially since they are so connected to the physical world around them. Before they can believe in something, they want to see evidence that is concrete and somewhat obvious. Oxor™ states that the blind acceptance of faith is at odds with being a Thinker.

What they like at a music festival: Part timer at the festival. Is only there to see one weird opening act. They spend twice the amount of time they spent watching the performance looking for their car.

What they like as their musical instrument: Synthesiser. Why? The Achiever is very independent and likes building things. The synthesiser allows the Achiever to endlessly customise the sound until it sounds uniquely like them.

What sort of friend: Laid back, volunteer. The laid back and sarcastic friend who you always seem to have fun with, even if you are not doing anything. They know how to fix anything, so that is a plus. Often do better alone. Can be lonely when they are bored and they do not have anyone who shares the same interests to talk to.

Weird feature: Looking out for themselves. Always does this and this tends not to sit too well with others. Has strange interests and fetishes. Rank: 5/10.

In the classroom: Memeing and giggling with the Perfectionist if he's the quiet type.

Attitude to money and risk

Augmentation: Achievers, together with Results, Counselors and Specialists have a fondness for risk-taking, especially in the immediate context. However, they do like to have a certain amount of security when it comes to their home life and the people that are important to them. They like having a “home base” whether it’s an actual home, a long-term friendship, a relationship, etc.. that they can return to at the end of the day (or week, or month). Achievers are quick to think on their feet and they tend to keep a steady head during a crisis. They are also good at scanning their environment for resources and solutions. Unlike some other types who might panic over a challenge, find themselves stimulated and invigorated by it. Achievers are always looking around for new experiences and enjoyment and they can sometimes become scattered and move from project to project without completing anything. This tends to play out in them jumping from job to job or passion to passion without finding long-term contentment. If they fail to inwardly analyse the opportunities they embark on then they can make poor choices that fail in the long-term and figure out whether what they are doing is logical or has lasting value. Sometimes it means allowing themselves to be bored because it is the most reasonable thing to do or it is the thing most in line with their values.

Spending money: Full Lifer. Luxury Shopper. Very interested in travelling and new experiences with dining along with other material luxuries. This can lead to rash decisions and spending then becomes too high, especially given a high propensity to take risks which are viewed optimistically.

Financial toxicity: Player - Slacker. Acts like they need help though they really do not need it - 'crying wolf'. They ask for money, though they actually aren’t doing anything to try on their own. Living off others is what they would rather do, instead of taking the difficult step of trying to be self-sufficient. This can be a challenge, so don't lend. Trustworthy Ranking: Low. (Does not trust most people simply because of skeptical attitude. Hesitant to trust anyone).

When Nefarious - actions are highly reprehensible or offensive in character

Cold, self-destructive, indulgent. Ruthlessly logical, but in pursuit of their own pleasure and at the expense of anyone who gets in their way. Ignore own moral compass and have no concern for the welfare or feelings of others. They keep to themselves and scorn attachments to other individuals, only seeking to get ahead or enjoy sensational thrills even if it harms themselves or others in the process. They become calculating and selfish, easily angered by anyone who seeks a foothold in their life. Nefarious Achievers can be the perfect mercenaries, using their hands-on skills to find wealth or sensory experience, even if it means destroying another life. e.g. Darth Maul (Star Wars). Crime: Graffiti, arson, impulsively violent. Domestic violence.

Bratty behaviour (Bratology™): Unwarranted grouchiness. Often very innocently, will respond grouchily towards whomever interrupts their train of thought. Needs to fake social pleasantries from time to time, even when not really in the mood to do so.
They are analytical and laid-back people and enjoy living in the present moment. They hate being stuck in one place and are always searching for some new adventure to explore. They are rarely viewed as bratty people, since they do not enjoy becoming overly emotional. Instead of focussing on their feelings, they focus on logic and reason. They want to take life as it comes and do not enjoy obsessing over pointless things. This helps them appear much less bratty than some other patterns; but they do have stubborn moments. When they are attempting to make a point or to be precise, they can certainly seem bratty to others.

When guilty: Moves On From Guilt. Often handle feelings of guilt in a very logical manner. Instead of being upset when they do something wrong, often accepts own failings. Will analyze the mistake and find ways in which they can make it right. Once they have atoned for their mistake will be more than capable of moving on, seeking ways to improve in the future. Takes life as it comes at them, believing that everyone makes mistakes and that is simply part of life. Often do not hold onto these guilty feelings, believing that to do so is a waste of time. Shame: Intelligent individuals, who favour logic over emotions. Understands that everyone makes mistakes in life, which often helps them refrain from feeling ashamed. May sometimes feel ashamed if they believe they have harmed the people that they love. Just deal with shame and are skilled at understanding situations and will often be able to forgive themselves for their mistakes in life. No one can be perfect including the Achiever.

Ingeniously Problematic™ behaviour: Sometimes. Is on display when it is clearly known what the desired outcome is, yet an assertion is made that may not be untruthful, is likely to be ambiguous and the author can use it to advantage. It is designed to give the recipient hope; reality may be 'bugger off' or (mis)leading you into taking up some sort of offer. It often involves blatant hypocrisy.

The Sir Robertson Sole symptoms™ - as the "asshole"!

The useless son of a bitch - The Smart Aleck R.Sole. Acts like an R. Sole but is secretly cuddly. Ignores social norms. Introspective thinking creates logical consistency in fixing things - cars etc. May be considered dumb accordingly. Can be helped by taking a chill pill. Unpredictable in the worst of ways – one second they might be slouching around doing absolutely nothing and, in the next second they will be all up in your face screaming and flailing. Watch out from them sending you vitriolic emails from two offices away, one minute after a cordial face-to-face meeting. They don’t care about their own or others’ safety, rarely check all facts and often endanger others with their shenanigans. Imagine them as ticking bombs. A relationship with an Achiever is exhausting. If they do not get what they want they will act like a child and you will be thoroughly embarrassed because these grown-up babies will sulk or throw fits.

On R.Sole steroids - The empty headed brooder. Brow perpetually knitted, these creeps spend a lot of time in front of the mirror rehearsing their 'deep thoughts' expression. Achiever types occasionally come close to getting laid until it becomes clear just how few substantive thoughts actually lurk behind their pensive mask. Then they enter the friend zone, never to return.
Insulting tags: Clueless. "You cannot ever figure anything out". "You are never very practical or useful".
Worst quality: Unpredictable.
Prof. Sole nominates Keanu Reeves, Woody Allen, Tom Cruise and Kristen Stewart.

Robert Sole's Conviction™: Fcuking crazy; also likes cars for some reason. Weird on the outside, broken on the inside.
