Observing someone stressed out, fearful and upset can make it easy for you to pick their pattern

Who is anxious?

Generally, this consultancy uses the various techniques based in the positive side of things. This is really part of a more advanced 'go to' section. Seeing others stressed out and fearful is an easy type of behaviour to observe. Here is also what to do!

What is Stress? It is a state of mental or emotional strain or tension.

What is the cause of Stress? It is caused by demanding circumstances.

What is the cause of the demanding circumstances?
They are caused by uncontrollable variables- factors that are out of a person's control, hindering success.

How can stress be restrained? Avoiding demanding circumstances takes a lot of planning and future-ordered inspection. People who plan for the worst give themselves countermeasures that restrain stress. This means that the master of planning has to be the most future-oriented cognitive function of the 8 intuitives. This means that the Enhancer is first, followed by the Investigator, Developer, Perfectionist, Inspirational, Agent, Persuader and Promoter. All other patterns fall behind.

Drama is also easy to observe! So which of all 16 are most likely to be the observed as drama queen? (A drama queen is a person who reacts theatrically to minor difficulties, regularly tries to be the centre of attention and treats other people's problems as less important than their own.) Do you know the other person's fears?

1. Can it be the Director - ESTJ?

The Director is the Border Collie

Outward signs shown when stressed: Martyr. The Director will become more introspective and self-absorbed. Will often feel alone and may feel sorry for themselves.

Outward signs of phobia: Ataxophobia. The Director has a fear of disorder.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Delicacy. e.g. The lack of tact and consideration regarding flaws and inefficiencies.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that they have a lack of control.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: When people are acting irresponsibly and not as they should be; passive-aggressive behaviour.

Causes of Stress: Being in an environment that is in disarray; Frequent disruptions; Irrational behaviour; Being surrounded by (or guilty of) incompetence; Unexpected changes; Lack of control; Laziness in others; Not having their strongly held values validated; Guilt over being critical towards others; Dealing too long with abstract or theoretical concepts; Being in a highly-charged emotional environment for too long.

When overwhelmed by stress, Directors often feel isolated from others. They feel as if they are misunderstood and undervalued, and that their efforts are taken for granted. When under stress, they have a hard time putting their feelings into words and communicating them to others. If they are under frequent, chronic stress, they may fall into the grip of their inferior function - introverted feeling. When this happens, they can develop a “martyr complex” - i.e. When they do not get what they want, or think they may be entitled to some sort of benefit or compensation, they victimise, dramatise and exaggerate about the difficulties and problems they have had to endure. The Director will be uncharacteristically emotional, withdraw from others, become hypersensitive about their relationships and misinterpret tiny, insignificant details into personal attacks. Physically, they may feel tension headaches and neck or shoulder aches from tension in their body.

What to do: Give them some time to be left alone during and immediately after an incident; Avoid directly attacking the problem right away; Help them break down larger projects into smaller pieces; Listen to them; Let them talk it out; After some time of listening, discuss information or ideas that could lead to solutions; Validate their feelings; Do not be overly-sympathetic; Do not respond emotionally.

Stress Coping Ability: In the bottom 8.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Sets immediate goals.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of incompetence.

Directors loathe having to work with lazy, inefficient people or people who procrastinate. They want everyone to do their part and “toe the line.” Irresponsibility among team or family members will drive them crazy and having to work on a project with someone who lacks skill or drive can make them literally queasy. This may not be a heart-racing or nightmare-producing fear, but a fear nevertheless. Losing control and uncertainty were also major fears.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Directors are determined and hard-working and will do nearly anything for the people they care about. They worry about prioritizing relationships with all the other duties taken on. They tend to have so many balls in the air at once that they leave no time for the passions of the heart. They fear about getting stuck with someone needy or emotionally overwhelming and the subsequent fighting to balance every task that is being juggled.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Directors definitely dislike drama, especially when it comes from overly emotional people. They will often become annoyed by these types of attention seeking individuals and will find themselves exhausted by them. Directors do not mind a little drama in their lives; they simply dislike over the top theatrics. They enjoy helping their loved ones and might give into their drama sometimes even if they dislike it. Directors simply prefer to live their lives focussed on their goals and dislike pointless drama.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Directors:

Banished to a workplace filled with unreasonably sensitive employees. Nothing ever gets done unless you explain the team that if it does not get done, your feelings will be hurt. The faster you need something done, the more emotion you have to show.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Says, "Remember how you really needed that grade boost in maths? Well, Iam pretty good mates with the maths teacher. So go ahead, keep it coming." The Director will make the roaster pay now that the roaster has now proved their stupidity.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "Wait, what? I look sad? No, I’m doing just fine. I’m great, ok?" {The fact is that deep down, they are not ok}.

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Director will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May become super judgmental and impose their will on others and take out their frustration on them. Their patience and tolerance goes down the gurgler and they can be very difficult to be around. They try to take the bull by the horns so to speak so as to make things right again but in the process they may trample over the sensitivities of others who fail to keep up or get with the program. The Director is highly pragmatic but may have a tendency to deal with their emotional turmoil using superficial and ineffective means.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake joy in extended and abstract "what-if" conversations.

Their mask: Feeling like everything is on their shoulders to keep up efficiency.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Director up: Once I’m present, you will be better.

What will vex Directors: Laziness; Procrastination; Others lateness; Mess and clutter; Belittling of beliefs or political views; Fear of Uselessness.

How the Director will show signs of Depression: If they feel like things in their life really are not going their way.

What the Director fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
When things are vague or ambiguous will feel uncertain and stressed. Will lose sleep if a situation arises where the Director is unsure which direction to take or what is needed to solve a problem. Leaving things open-ended or unresolved stresses the Director no end. If a decision out of haste was made just to have closure then they might be anxious over how that decision could potentially backfire. Uncertainty is a plague they want extinguished as soon as possible and with it hanging they feel unable to rest or enjoy the moment as much as wanted. Directors should take a deep breath and remember that it is okay to encounter grey areas every once in a while. Nobody makes perfect decisions every single time. Some solutions take waiting and patience to reveal themselves and often rest and a distraction is just what you need for that solution to unexpectedly appear.

Possible Disorders: Obsessive compulsive personality disorder; Passive Aggressive Personality Disorder.

Procrastination Tendency: Unlikely. Rank 15/16.

2. Can it be the Developer - ENTJ?

The Developer is the German Shepherd

Outward signs shown when stressed: Argumentative. The Developer will become more introspective and self-absorbed. Will often feel alone and may feel sorry for themselves.

Outward signs of phobia: Gamophobia. The Developer has a fear of marriage.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Sensitivity. e.g. Listening to someone tell about their day or the details of something more mundane can feel exhausting and dull.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that they have been ousted as a leader or fired.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Not being in charge; losing.

Causes of Stress: Being in an environment that lacks vision or ideas for the future; Being in an environment where others do not appreciate their vision; Being interrupted; Being surrounded by (or guilty of) incompetence; Poorly managed change; Laziness; Having to be a follower instead of a leader; Not being able to make their goals come to fruition; Having to deal with intense emotions from others; Feeling guilt over being critical towards others; Not having their strongly held values validated or respected; Small talk or frivolous conversations.

When experiencing stress, Developers may at first become argumentative and combative with anyone who is causing it. They may feel that they are losing control and feel an urgent need to complete a task. If the stress continues, they become distracted by the urgency and need to get something done. They may engage in compulsive, misdirected activities like cleaning, counting or inspecting. They will feel a growing sense of failure and a rising sense of anger and frustration. If they are in a state of chronic stress, they may fall into the grip of their inferior function - introverted feeling. When this happens they may become uncharacteristically emotional and furious and withdraw from others to prevent anyone seeing their lack of emotional stability. They may become hypersensitive about their relationships, misinterpreting tiny, insignificant details and believing that others hate or dislike them.

What to do: Give them some space and time alone to sort out their feelings; Listen and let them talk it out when they are ready; Discuss information or ideas that could lead to solutions; Do not be overly sympathetic or emotional; Give them a change of scenery by getting outdoors with them; Encourage them to vent their frustration without fear of judgment; Remind them that they are okay and it is perfectly fine to feel the way they do and that you will not judge them. This last one may be very difficult for Enhancers to do.

Stress Coping Ability: 3rd place. The Developer scores surprisingly high compared with the rest of the Extroverts. The major contributing factor is not their auxiliary introverted intuition but their very strong extroverted thinking. Their ability to organize and rearrange is immaculate. Possessing the top 2 cognitive functions in their function stack for meticulous planning, they are well placed at No. 3.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Finds answers.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of mediocrity.

Developers are natural-born leaders with enormous visions and dreams for the future. They are driven by an intense desire to make a difference in the world and live up to their fullest potential. They hate the idea of living a less than remarkable life. They have a deep yearning to stand out and achieve their dreams at all costs.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Developers are determined visionaries who live life with a sense of purpose and ambition. They are always trying to better themselves, optimize time and understand the deeper meaning of life. Their biggest relationship fear is that they will not find anyone who can keep up. They have no interest in small talk or small dreams. They want to find someone who will aim high and dream big with them.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Developers do not mind a little drama here and there but they certainly dislike people who are overly emotional. They dislike people who openly display their emotions and are constantly seeking out attention from others. Developers prefer to live their lives away from this type of drama and simply do not have the time or energy for it. They do not mind if someone is being playfully dramatic or if they are simply doing it in order to make other people laugh (e.g. The Promoter). Developers just do not want to be a part of peoples emotional or relationship drama and will do their best to avoid those people.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Developers:

You discover that someone you trusted has been secretly manipulating your environment for years and infringing upon your ability to make autonomous choices. You are not sure if they were acting alone, or if you must now be suspicious of everyone else you once trusted.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Exposes the five hundred wrongdoings the person has done that they have stored in their brain just for this moment. The Developer will humiliate you.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "Oh well, she would have held me back from reaching my true potential anyway."

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Developer will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May become both volatile and impatient. It will be difficult for them to listen to anyone for very long and they may become very domineering, intimidating, obnoxious and be the bully. Diplomacy may fall to the wayside when they are not happy and the Developer may cut straight to the point in setting about how to fix the situation. They typically do not wallow in despair and self pity as they consider it not to be a productive use of their time. The Developer may feel vulnerable and fearful but will be cleared up by way of their effort to get themselves and their lives back under control.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake suffering fools gladly.

Their mask: Fear of manipulation thus the feeling the need to take the lead.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Developer up: Getting them something practical as a solution to their sadness.

What will vex Developers: Mediocrity; Being helpless; Stupidity; Being controlled; Not meeting potential; Fear of Alzheimer's; Compromise; Not improving; Being incompetent or dealing with incompetence; Fear of Betrayal.

How the Developer will show signs of Depression: Will often lose sight of what is important to them and will feel rather useless.

What the Developer fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
The Developer fears being 'the worker'. Totally ambitious, will come up with evolutionary plans, strategies and tactics to stay on top and lead a life that is anything but ordinary and trample anyone who gets in the way. If the Developer is unchallenged and bored they may well need to test themselves and take up a business or a franchise, or pursue a recreational pursuit that requires mastery and quick thinking. Will want to associate with people with bigger dreams, bigger plans, who are asking bigger things of themselves.

Possible Disorders: Narcissistic personality disorder; Antisocial personality disorder; Sadistic Personality Disorder.

Procrastination Tendency: Unlikely. Rank 14/16.

3. Can it be the Results - ESTP?

The Results is the Jack Russell Terrier

Outward signs shown when stressed: Exaggerator. The Results will become pessimistic and gloomy in their outlook.

Outward signs of phobia: Claustrophobia. The Results has a fear of being confined in closed spaces.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Anticipating. e.g. They tend to focus so much on the "now" that they forget to deal with the "later".

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that people are being unreceptive to them.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Boredom - always need something energetically stimulating to keep them going.

Causes of Stress: Rigidly enforced rules; Having to plan far into the future; Feeling out of control; Being asked to complete tasks without detailed directions or processes; Large amounts of book work, theory or writing; Being forced to make commitments or plans before they are ready; Being forced to make decisions or eliminate options before they’re ready; Having to spend a lot of time following someone else’s rules or schedule; Being in a situation where they have to use a lot of theoretical or intuitive concepts; Being around people who are excessively serious.

When faced with stress, Results folk tend to feel empty or hollow inside. Their first impulse may be to seek revenge for whatever has caused them stress. They may do this by mocking other people’s values or becoming increasingly anti-social and disdainful of others. If they are in a state of chronic stress, they may fall into the grip of their inferior function - introverted intuition, and become a “dramatiser”. When this happens, they may do things that are completely out of character for them. They may lose their naturally easy going, agreeable character and begin to have fearful fantasies of the future, ideas of impending doom swirling in their minds. They may begin to assign big meaning to small occurrences and become preoccupied with the meaning of life and the future of mankind and the universe in a way that is usually filled with gloom and disillusionment.

What to do: Give them space initially or directly after the event; Listen to them. Understand that they will likely be irrational; Do not tell them how to fix it. This will only make them feel more helpless; Give gentle affirmations or encouragement; Help them sort out their priorities, paying careful attention to their feelings.

Stress Coping Ability: In the bottom 8.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Finds some control.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of losing control.

Results like to be aware and in control of themselves in their surroundings. They are known for their fast reflexes and adaptability and the idea of losing this is appalling to them. They want to know that they can remain in control of themselves and not become helpless, trapped or out of control. Some even refrain from drinking because they did not like the “out of control” feeling being drunk gave them. Others may not like roller coasters because they hated being strapped into something they could not get out of. This said, it is true that these same people would have no qualms with skydiving or snowboarding or performing dangerous stunts. As long as they have their own physical freedom, they feel they are still in control.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Results find that the loyalty and the lengths they go to protect those close is underestimated. But it takes something powerful for them to commit to someone. They tend to be hesitant to cut options out so they have to be really sure of someone before they get serious about the relationship. They worry that by falling for someone and settling down they will do anything for them – even cutting back on passions, adventures and the activities that make them come alive. They worry about being tied down or controlled.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Results folk have dramatic moments especially since they despise being bored. If the Results person feels stagnant for too long, they might even create drama in their lives just to spice things up. They absolutely hate feeling like they have nothing interesting going on in their lives and will be great at stirring up drama. Results can sometimes make a mess of their own lives out of sheer boredom, but will be capable of piecing things back together afterwards.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Results:

Every time you want to take action on something, you must first fill out a stack of tedious paper work, wait several weeks for it to be approved and then proceed only with very specific parts.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Will either walk away because everyone is on their side anyway or punches the roaster for fun. The Results could injure the foolish roaster.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "Oh well. Hey, love interest’s friend, do you wanna go out with me?”

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Results will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May sulk and become very brusque with others. They may feel beleaguered, hypersensitive to criticism and their conversations with people may become bitter and laced with explicit and implicit insults .They may go on the offensive and attempt to make others see things from their perspective and validate their grievances. The Results may also go off on their own to blow off steam and surround themselves with the things they love that make them feel better.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake a minimalist lifestyle.

Their mask: Not wanting to accept that their fist is weaker than their brain’s strength; that the world is beyond physical.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Results up: Giving them a surprise. (But this might add to their problems).

What will vex Results: Others planning their schedule; Others seeking attention at all costs; Being controlled or trapped; Others complaining without wanting a solution; Slow pace; Having plans or logic dismissed; Fear of Being forgotten.

How the Results will show signs of Depression: Will often try to make themselves busy, focusing on their daily tasks.

What the Results fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
The Results wants to feel unrestricted and in control. When sick or otherwise immobilised they fear being a burden to the people around them. Absolutely detests being at the mercy of anyone else or being unable to fend for themselves. This lack of control makes them restless. This also applies when stuck in a relationship where they are not unappreciated or trapped in a job where they are micro-managed and stifled every moment of the day. When feeling like a caged lion, who needs to break free to exert their own independence and freedom, needs to reflect on the accuracy of their thoughts before taking drastic action. May need to recreate or accomplish a small task. May need a change of scene. Rupert Murdoch appears to be a good example of a Results.

Possible Disorders: Antisocial personality disorder; Histrionic personality disorder; Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Procrastination Tendency: Yes. Prompted by pressure need to keep options open and reluctant to make quick decisions, act too quickly, fear of hurting people's feelings, embarrassment, incompetence, pure boredom, making the "wrong decision", not doing the perfect thing, putting off the difficult conversation, task or decision hoping it will resolve itself. Rank 7/16.

4. Can it be the Inspirational - ENTP?

The Inspirational is the Bull Terrier

Outward signs shown when stressed: Obsessor. The Inspirational develops tunnel-vision and becomes more obsessed with details and their physical needs.

Outward signs of phobia: Catagelophobia. The Inspirational has a fear of being ridiculed.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Boredom. e.g. They can get bored or distracted after working for a prolonged time on the same project.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that they are stuck in a meaningless routine.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Realising that they were wrong in an argument.

Causes of Stress: An environment where rules are rigidly enforced; A lack of change or progression; A lack of outside stimulation; Being micromanaged; Having their creativity stifled; Being forced to make decisions or complete projects before they are ready to do so; Working with individuals they view as incompetent; Not having their visions appreciated; Having their principles violated; Having to focus too long on mundane details; Overextending themselves.

When an Inspirational is experiencing stress, they become distracted and overwhelmed, losing their signature “can do” attitude. They may feel incompetent, inept and inadequate. They can become overwhelmed with fear, panic and anxiety and will feel a need to escape whatever situation is plaguing them. Their creativity will be stifled and, if the stress isn’t handled, they will fall into the grip of their inferior function - introverted sensing. When they fall into the grip of their inferior function, they will become uncharacteristically quiet and reserved. They will feel depressed and stew on ways they have failed. They may notice minor bodily changes and become convinced that they are suffering from some life-threatening disease. They often become hypochondriacs, imagining all kinds of ailments that are befalling them physically.

What to do: Give them time alone to deal with their feelings; Avoid patronizing them, even if they are being irrational; Don’t try to “solve the problem”; Listen without making judgments, or trying to talk them out of their negative state; Encourage them to have some time alone to exercise; Encourage them to get enough rest; Give them a massage; After they have calmed down a little, ask if they want help.

Stress Coping Ability: 5th place. Although they are in the second quartile, do not be fooled by their capacity to work within chaotic environments. This, in turn, makes them excellent individuals who know how to work with tense situations. Most Inspirationals do not really plan, but rely a lot on their intelligence to get by during tough situations.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Conducts a brainstorming session.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of being controlled.

Inspirationals like autonomy and it is one of their strongest desires. These independent individuals crave freedom and space to explore new ideas and possibilities. Being micro-managed, stuck in a possessive relationship or even bound by financial obligations can make them feel suffocated.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Inspirationals love exploration and adventure. They worry about settling down with someone only to find out they are missing out on new experiences and opportunities. Being trapped terrifies them – they like keeping options open and knowing that there is always room for change and transformation. Being in a relationship where freedom is stifled makes their skin crawl.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Inspirationals dislike overly dramatic people and hate when individuals are senselessly emotional. They prefer to be around people who can control themselves and do not just fight for centre of attention. Inspirationals can be a bit dramatic sometimes but it is purely in jest. They will not enjoy drama that seems to be affecting the lives of others and truly dislike when people want to drag other people into their theatrics. Inspirationals simply enjoy being a little over the top in a playful way and do not mind having a little fun. They might be dramatic by making up a song to make people laugh, or doing something crazy and shocking like cliff diving.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Inspirationals:

Entrepreneurship has been outlawed. Now, only big corporations with standardised advancement opportunities are allowed. Meddling or arguing with the policy in any way lands you in solitary confinement for life.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Returns the roast with such dramatic success that the roaster is humiliated and everyone laughs. The Inspirational will make sure you are taken down.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "I refuse to stop my life to mourn a mere rejection. Emotions are for the weak."

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Inspirational will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May lash out and will seek out like minded individuals to commiserate with them. They want someone with whom they can vent their anger and frustration with lengthy and loquacious diatribes. When they have been hurt or upset by someone, the Inspirational can become especially frank and insensitive towards others. They may try to busy themselves with activities to distract from their pain or umbrage or simply sink into a depression. The Inspirational would benefit by taking time to slow down and reflect calmly on what bothers them and share this with an objective listener who can help them focus on what is most important and sort it out.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake a "traditional" romance. Be careful if you are ever given flowers by an Inspirational.

Their mask: Missing opportunities because they always feel trapped despite how free they are.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Inspirational up: Pretending they are not upset and acting normal.

What will vex Inspirationals: Being controlled or trapped; Not truly connected to another person; Laziness; Mediocrity; Not meeting potential; Boredom; Relationship commitment; Stupidity; Loss of loved one; Being seen as incompetent, inadequate or stupid; Losing rational use of the mind; Fear of Stagnancy.

How the Inspirational will show signs of Depression: If feels pigeonholed or trapped in their current situation.

What the Inspirational fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
The Inspirational fears a situation where novelty, new experiences, new ideas, theories, knowledge, challenge and opposition to the “normal” way of thinking is in play. Cannot stand being tied down or forced to conform to the way things “have always been done”. If stuck in a rut, maybe a book about a new scientific theory or exploration of a philosophy that might turn their world view upside down. Should get out in the world and get a change of scenery or talk to a friend who can be counted on for a lively (but friendly) debate - the Inspirational is the debater after all - this is a common theme on this site in picking their pattern.

Possible Disorders: Borderline personality disorder; Narcissistic personality disorder; Antisocial personality disorder; Histrionic personality disorder; Compensatory Narcissistic Personality Disorder and Sadistic Personality Disorder.

Rank 3/16.

5. Can it be the Persuader - ENFJ?

The Persuader is the Boxer

Outward signs shown when stressed: Condemner. The Persuader becomes more critical, impersonal and perfectionistic of themselves and others under stress.

Outward signs of phobia: Atychiphobia. The Persuader has a fear of failure.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Criticism. e.g. They often find it challenging to decide on something that could affect others in negative ways.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that they are being mocked publicly and irreparably.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Losing the ones that they love the most.

Causes of Stress: Being in critical or confrontational environments; Lack of appreciation or affirmation; Lack of harmony; Unexpected change; Inadequate time to complete work to their standards; Tense relationships or environments; Having to do mundane, repetitive tasks; Having to conform with something that goes against their values; Over-empathising with others to the point of losing track of their own needs; Being misunderstood or not trusted; People not living up to their idealised expectations.

When a Persuader experiences stress, they often disassociate themselves from the situation in an effort to protect their sense of well-being and togetherness. They may repress the unpleasant side of life for so long, that it gradually intensifies until the Persuader explodes with emotion and/or charged anger. Often the body will reflect pent-up stress by manifesting various physical symptoms, such as headaches, shoulder tension or an upset stomach. In the case of chronic stress, the Persuader may fall into the grip of their inferior function - introverted thinking. When this happens, the Persuader may uncharacteristically lash out at others, obsess over their mistakes, lack of competence and flaws. Eventually, these criticisms will turn inward and the Persuader will withdraw from others to self-criticise. The Persuader may become obsessive about analysing irrelevant data to find some ultimate truth or reason for their stress.

What to do: Acknowledge how they feel; Let them talk it out; Remind them of their strengths and contributions; Do not use logic to talk them out of their stress; Do not ignore them, even if they seem irrational; Give them a change of scenery to get away from the situation; Go outdoors. Do some type of exercise with them; Watch a lighthearted movie or comedy with them; Do not patronize or dismiss their concerns.

Stress Coping Ability: 7th place. They come in ahead of the Promoter because of their auxiliary introverted intuition. Although Persuaders plan very little, they do pull out very intuitive escape-routes every now and again, in many given situations. However, they do not always have a way out and their dominant extroverted feeling does not help.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Brings people together.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of being alone.

Persuaders hate being alone. They feel that their lives were emptier and lacking meaning the longer they spent time in isolation. This makes sense considering their dominant function, Extraverted Feeling (Fe), is largely concerned with promoting the happiness and morale of others. Prolonged bouts of alone time can make them feel empty and uninspired.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Persuaders craves authenticity and passion in relationships, so one of their biggest worries is meeting someone who is pretending or who lacks initiative. Stagnancy makes them irritable and listless so they want a partner who wants to grow with them, explore new ideas and better themselves. They fear falling for someone who is secretive or is a slacker.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Persuaders often handle drama very well and find themselves constantly caught up in it. The Persuader's interest in caring for the emotional needs of others often leaves them smack in the middle of drama. They are the person everyone relies on to help them when they need life or relationship advice. Being the go to support system often causes becoming swept away in the drama of other people. They can be a bit dramatic themselves, especially with the things they are passionate about. Persuaders simply do not hold themselves back, and enjoy being upfront and honest.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Persuader:

You became the powerful leader of a movement meant to bring about peace, only to discover you were misguided by your mentor and the whole movement is bogus. Now you are exposed as a corrupt leader.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Genuinely thinks the roast is funny. The Persuader will defuse the roast, the more vile the more defused.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "Man, I really hate conflict. This is all my fault. What have I done wrong?"

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Persuader will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: Can be very hard on themselves and often feel somehow responsible for what goes wrong. They become inflexible and increasingly critical towards others as well and become uncharacteristically harsh. Some space and time away from people is generally what they need although they may not do themselves such a favour. Because of their nature, they are inclined to try and hang tough and convince themselves that everything is okay and that they have the power to get through just fine. Only their closest friends and confidantes will ever get to know the inner struggles that lay beneath the Persuader’s sunny disposition.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake being happy when not interacting with other people.

Their mask: Thinking they cannot help themselves so helping others makes them feel better instead.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Persuader up: Throwing a party and serving all of their favourite food and drinks.

What will vex Persuaders: Lying; Unreliability; Disloyalty; Selfishness; Bullying; Fear of Loneliness.

How the Persuader will show signs of Depression: If feeling extremely guilty.

What the Persuader fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
Despite being compassionate, visionary and insightful with folk flocking to you when they need consolation over a personal problem or direction at a confusing time in their life. Eventually the Persuader will run into someone who likes to spread negative information. Gossip will mean lost sleep about what they might have said or what the other person misconstrued as they hate being mistrusted or misunderstood and desperately want to fix it. Should remember that what a Persuader thinks of the Persuader is what matters most and Persuaders cannot always control what other people think and do; can only only control themselves. Talking to a trusted friend for support and who will be honest and who will either tell what is wrong or have enough trust in the Persuader to know when someone is making up lies.

Possible Disorders: Borderline personality disorder; Dependent personality disorder; Avoidant personality disorder; Histrionic personality disorder; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Procrastination Tendency: Unlikely. Rank 10/16.

6. Can it be the Appraiser - ESFJ

The Appraiser is the Great Dane

Outward signs shown when stressed: Condemner. The Appraiser becomes more critical, impersonal and perfectionistic of themselves and others under stress.

Outward signs of phobia: Algophobia. The Appraiser has a fear of pain.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Bluntness. e.g. They might feel insulted because someone was so direct and blunt with them.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that they have no friends.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Wanting to help others badly, but then getting stressed out wondering if they are really needed.

Causes of Stress: Unstructured environment; Having to do things that involve abstract, theoretical concepts; Environments that have tension or conflict; Unexpected change; Inadequate time to complete work to their standards; Tense or confrontational relationships or situations; Situations that do not meld with their values; Lack of trust in someone or something they are involved with; Criticism; Feeling unappreciated.

When faced with stress, Appraisers can become very critical and overly sensitive, often imagining bad intentions where there are not any. Being prone to insecurity, they can focus all their attention on pleasing those who give them security. This may lead them to become staunchly attached to a toxic relationship, structure or belief system that provides them some sort of affirmation or security. They can become quite dramatic when under stress, finding fault with almost everyone and everything. They can experience low energy, a feeling of depression and pessimism. They become uncharacteristically quiet and withdrawn. If they are under chronic stress, they may fall into the grip of their inferior function - introverted thinking. This can cause them to take on the form of “the condemner”, focusing on everyone’s flaws and all the ways they have been hurt by them and how those flaws go against their belief system and how things “should be”.

What to do: Give them a change of scenery. Let them spend some time outdoors; Encourage them to exercise (without making it a dig at their weight or health); Watch a comedy with them, or engage them with some humor or lighthearted entertainment; Acknowledge how they feel; Let them talk it out; Remind them of their strengths and contributions; Do not use logic to talk them out of stress; Do not ignore them; Give them feedback. Talk about a similar situation you went through; Get them away from the environment or situation that is stressing them out; Give them an enjoyable book to read, or a lighthearted movie to watch.

Stress Coping Ability: In the bottom 8.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Nurtures and organizes.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of being abandoned.

Appraisers are extremely loyal individuals who are deeply committed to their loved ones. They are known for their responsibility, their generosity and empathy. Being abandoned by those they have committed to and cared for tops their list of worst fears.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Appraisers see the best in people and enjoy brightening up their lives. Because they are self aware, they worry about being taken advantage of or manipulated. They worry that they are going to wear their heart on their sleeve only to have it used against them or to be rejected. They do not want someone to manipulate their kind-hearted nature only to cheat, lie or show their true colours when there has already been a commitment of heart to them by the Appraiser.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Appraisers often find themselves caught up in the drama of others since they are constantly focussed on the emotions of other people. They can quickly find themselves being dragged into other people’s emotional drama, even if the Appraiser does not want to be. They have a hard time saying “no” to people, which makes it hard for them to avoid drama in most situations. Appraisers actually dislike people who attempt to create drama, especially if it is hurting someone they care about. They will not be afraid to dive into the dramatic situation though, especially if they feel like it could help calm the situation down.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Appraisers:

A spell is cast upon you, stating that every time you make someone you love happy, another person you love becomes equally as unhappy. You begin to develop the reputation of spoiling the pleasure of others.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Will retort "Oh my god, that is so rude!" and five hundred friends come over to chase the roaster away. The Appraiser will react in a way the roaster did not expect (unless the roaster knows Disc).

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "Why does everyone hate me?"

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Appraiser will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May withdraw from their usually personable self and become more tentative. They may feel inadequate and insecure and may respond by criticising others over petty and trivial matters. May feel emotionally vulnerable and in need of some consolation and support from the people they value most. They may become extra clingy and emotionally needy. They may also respond by seeking out professional counsel and advice.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake being a loner, being unique or being a rule-breaker.

Their mask: Feeling sad because time changes people so their advice is not taken seriously. But not changing beause everything is a life-long lesson.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Appraiser up: Flowers, chocolate, nice gifts and a big warm hug.

What will vex Appraisers: Lateness; Lack of follow through; Verbal manipulation (trolling); Being taken advantage of.

How the Appraiser will show signs of Depression: By trying to overcompensate for the feeling of sadness; Fear of Being unwanted.

What the Appraiser fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
The Appraisers fear is what they do may never be enough regarding the security and physical and emotional welfare of the people close together with working hard and wanting to make sure that everything is perfect. The Appraiser worries that no matter how much is done it is not enough to be fully prepared for what can happen in life. May wish wish that people would understand how much they are really going through and how much they really do behind the scenes. When feeling burnt out it may be that anxiety over all the details that are not perfect, take a deep breath especially if physically and emotionally tired that worry is amped up from exhaustion. Talking to a friend to get out all the frustrations and anxieties; handing over one of your responsibilities and trust someone else to help with that or a change of scenery may be possible solutions.

Possible Disorders: Stress, depression, suicidal thoughts, masochistic personality.

Possible Disorders: Obsessive compulsive personality disorder; Avoidant personality disorder; Histrionic personality disorder; Masochistic Personality Disorder.

Procrastination Tendency: Unlikely. Rank 11/16.

7. Can it be the Promoter - ENFP?

The Promoter is the Golden Retriever

Outward signs shown when stressed: Obsessor. The Promoter develops tunnel-vision and becomes more obsessed with details and their physical needs.
When stressed, their normally friendly and cheerful natures turn irritable, emotional, defensive and reactive. They often feel overwhelmed, struggle to communicate, shut out other people and reject new ideas. Feeling trapped, out of control and unable to find a way out, they can become extremely critical of others, lashing out, blaming and finding fault with everything and everyone as they try to regain control. For some, this can develop into a focus on routine and order and a strict demand that everything is done their way. Under stress also fail to see any fault in themselves.

Outward signs of phobia: Amaxophobia. The Promoter has a fear of riding in a car.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Consistency. e.g. They are so in love with ideas that they can lose touch with the practical realities of achieving them.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that they are being ignored.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Having their lives controlled / structured so they are not able to follow their many curiosities.

Causes of Stress: Environments where rules are rigidly enforced; Focusing on repetitive, detailed tasks; Having to focus too much on sensory details; Having to focus too much on the past or present; Not being able to use their intuition; Constraints on brainstorming or envisioning; A lack of outside stimulation; Being micromanaged; Having creativity stifled; Having to complete projects before they are ready to do so; Criticism; Lack of appreciation; Having their values violated; Overextending themselves for others.

Promoters tend to overextend themselves and procrastinate, which is often a source of stress as it complicates their lives. When they become stressed, their naturally charming natures become more irritable and over-sensitive. When stressed, Promoters feel alienated and engage in deceptions to obscure what is occurring within themselves. They will feel that they are losing control over their own independent identities and feel conflicted by intruding circumstances. During continued stress, they may fall into the grip of their inferior function - introverted sensing. When this happens, they become obsessive and depressed. They will become hyper-aware of minor bodily sensations or abnormalities and interpret them as a sign of a serious illness. They may have a hard time communicating clearly and feel numb and frozen inside. Their thinking may become cloudy and convoluted. They will feel that there are no possibilities or ways out. They may feel overwhelmed, out of control, unable to sort out priorities and thus become inflexible. Some become obsessive about record keeping, cleaning or other household tasks.

What to do: Give them space and time alone to sort out their feelings; Remind them that they are able and competent; Give them permission to “escape”; Do not give them advice. It won’t help right now; Do not ask for details; Do not try to “fix” the problem; Meditation often helps Promoters; Listen to them; Encourage them to exercise; Encourage them to get enough sleep; Encourage them to get a massage; Be warm and kind in the way you speak to them; After they have calmed down a little, ask them if they want help evaluating the situation. Be wary that Promoters are terrible in that they will not commit; sometimes "force" is required!

Stress Coping Ability: 8th place. In 8th place comes as no surprise as the Promoter is the most spontaneous of the intuitives (those with N in the MBTI designator); behaviour patterns from 9th place on are very poor at coping with stress. It is very rare indeed to witness a Promoter plan in depth, or even at all, because their focus tends to be more possibility-focused than future-focused. Their extroverted intuition tends to speak a lot of the patterns and ideas around them and not so much on the whole aspect of planning, a key area to look at when combatting stress.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Offer perplexingly ingenious solutions.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of a lack of meaningful relationships.

Promoters biggest fear is being alone. (Same as the Persuader). However, this does not mean they want to be around people constantly. Their fear revolves around not having meaningful relationships, dying alone or feeling disconnected from humanity. Having a healthy social group, supportive friends and meaningful, honest relationships are extremely important. Not living up to potential came in at a close second, with boredom coming in third.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Promoters have an eye for novelty and passion. When someone rocks their world with new ideas and novel experiences they find they are inexplicably drawn to them. They fear that underneath the excitement and newness of who the new person is, they lack true character. Promoters worry about committing too quickly to someone only to find out the other party was “faking” it.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Promoters have a flair for the dramatics and might even enjoy being the center of attention. They will be intentionally dramatic just to make people laugh or entertain themselves or others. Promoters will only enjoy drama if it is harmless and does not hurt or upset another person. They dislike drama that involves fights or people’s lives becoming disrupted. Promoters simply like a little drama in their lives but only for the sake of entertainment and excitement. Promoters are passionate people which can cause people to believe they are dramatic at times, which they are!

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Promoters:

You wrote a self-help book with the intention of empowering others. It gained a cult following, but there were a few holes in your logic and everyone who took your advice ended up worse off than they were to begin with. The media is branding you as a crook who took advantage of others for personal profit.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Says "Hahaha, good one". The Promoter has such a short attention span that they have forgotten about the roast before it is finished.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "Oh no, this rejection is going to completely destroy me. I'd better go on a year long trip around the world to keep my mind off it."

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Promoter will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May continue to be present and engaging but mentally they will be noticeably distant and disengaged. They become more distracted but may go out of their way to make it seem like everything is okay to avoid detection. They may convey emotions only through their eyes but in their lives will show signs of forgetfulness, negligence and worry. They can become obsessive and picky and prone to bouts of depression. They may also get confrontational in response to criticism and may unleash the classic Promoter bitch slap (slap someone angrily usually as an expression of dominance, contempt or disrespect in a state of self-righteous indignation. You have been warned.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: The Promoter can pretty much fake most things - you have been warned.

Their mask: Growing mature way too early when young; trying to keep the child inside when old.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Promoter up: Balloons, daisies and everything nice.

What will vex Promoters: Being alone; Death of loved ones; Meaninglessness; Not meeting potential; Abandonment; Hurting others feelings; Being morally flawed and not knowing it; The after life consequences; Missing out; Fear of Their past.

How the Promoter will show signs of Depression: Will begin disconnecting from the world around them and begin to lash out at those around them.

What the Promoter fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
The Promoter will feel panicky and nervous when backed into a corner. If life starts feeling repetitive, or if you are caged in by obligations, the Promoter will lie awake thinking of ways to fight back. Craving freedom, exploration, and adventure, a repetitive rut will cause misery and a desire to escape. The Promoter should take a good hard look at what their values are and what is important in the grand scheme of things. Should cancel some responsibilities that are non-essential, consider a different job or make small changes as this can make a big difference. Schedule some unstructured free time. Read a book!

Possible Disorders: Borderline personality disorder; Paranoid Personality Disorder.

Procrastination Tendency: The absolute masters of procrastination. Rank 1/16.

8. Can it be the Counselor - ESFP

The Counselor is the Poodle

Outward signs shown when stressed: Exaggerator. The Counselor will become pessimistic and gloomy in their outlook.

Outward signs of phobia: Autophobia. The Counselor has a fear of being alone.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Planning. e.g. They are so focussed on the present, they over-commit to things that sound positive and then become exhausted later trying to keep up with everything they have signed up for.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that killjoys are taking away their fun.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Serious conversation; trying to open up to people.

Causes of Stress: An environment of rigidly enforced rules; Long-term planning; Having to think far into the future; Being forced to make commitments and plans; Criticism or confrontation; Feeling out of control; Being asked to complete tasks without detailed directions or processes; Lack of hands-on experiences; Too much time alone; Too much book work, theory or writing; Having to sit still for too long.

When Counselors experience stress, they may become passively resistant initially. They might become bored and feel empty and listless. They may try to retaliate against the people who are causing them stress by annoying them or trying to irritate them. When overwhelmed with stress, they may become self-destructive, regressing emotionally and acting in an immature fashion. In the case of chronic stress, Counselors may fall into the grip of their inferior function - introverted intuition. When this happens, the Counselor can become highly exaggerative, dramatically foretelling the doom that the future will hold. They may see hidden meanings and visions of despair for the future and struggle with misinterpreting things people say. This is highly uncharacteristic since they are usually very optimistic and friendly people who want to maintain harmony.

What to do: Listen thoughtfully and patiently; Give them space initially to sort out their feelings, but be ready to talk to them as are often helped by talking things through; Understand that they will be irrational. Be patient with this; Do not tell them how to fix it. This makes them feel more helpless; Encourage them to exercise or spend some time outdoors; Tell them what they are doing well.

Stress Coping Ability: In the bottom 8.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Re-frames the problem.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of a loss of freedom.

Counselors greatly fear losing their freedom or being trapped in a mundane existence. (Similar to the Specialist). They want to know they can change their mind if a decision leads in the wrong direction and they want to know they have plenty of options and opportunities.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Counselors are enthusiastic and spontaneous and crave a relationship that is filled with fun and new adventures. They fear falling for someone who will eventually try to “rein them in” and stifle their free spirit. When they fall for someone, they fall hard. And they do not want that to result in a battle of loyalties between them and the person they love. They want to fall for someone who will join in for an adventure rather than pull them away from it.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Counselors definitely enjoy a little drama in their lives and dislike being stagnant for too long. They do not always mean for it to happen, but drama seems to follow Counselors. They enjoy having excitement in their lives and might find themselves drawn to dramatic situations. No one will ever call a Counselor boring, but they might call them a bit dramatic. They enjoy making other people laugh and will often go over the top in order to do so. Counselors can also be a little dramatic when they want attention from someone they love and will go to great lengths to get what they want.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Counselors:

Someone is funnier than you and they follow you everywhere. Everyone starts thinking of you as the awesome guy’s boring sidekick.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Will say "Hey! Mean!". The Counselor will not mind as they must be the life of the party and the centre of attention.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "To be honest, it probably just wasn’t meant to be. But I’m going to hang out with all my friends and get all their opinions as well."

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Counselor will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May become a train wreck and shut others out and become difficult to work with. They will likely want someone with whom they can talk about their problems and vent or may avoid thinking about their problems altogether. They may also engage in thrill seeking and indulgent and sometimes reckless behaviour depending on how distraught they are. They want to feel good and will do whatever they can to take their minds off of whatever is dragging them down. They will be extra sensitive to criticism and view negativity from others as an attack against which they will rebel, with force.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake reticence or shyness.

Their mask: Fear of rejection; realising what they saw was not what it was.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Counselor up: Playing some upbeat music and insisting they dance.

What will vex Counselors: Planning ahead; Beating about the bush; Being micro managed; Negativity; Others who chew, eat or drink loudly; Fear of Insignificance.

How the Counselor will show signs of Depression: Might attempt to try new and exciting things to pull themselves out of it.

What the Counselor fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
The Counselor is charismatic and often the one that people look at and wish they could emulate in social situations - cracking the perfectly-timed joke, reacting spontaneously with boldness and optimism that is admired. The fear is that the Counselor is that they will have no lasting impact on the world by imparting a sense of freedom and possibility to others. Should take some time to get away from all the commotion of the outside world and focus on who they are on the inside. Re-organise priorities or re-confirm being on the right track in life, talk to someone close who understands that all the things done to brighten people’s days can mean a great deal in the long run.

Possible Disorders: Borderline Personality Disorder.

Rank 6/16.

9. Can it be the Specialist - ISFP

The Specialist is the Saint Bernard

Outward signs shown when stressed: Criticiser. The Specialist becomes more critical, sarcastic and blunt.

Outward signs of phobia: Glossophobia. The Specialist has a fear of public speaking.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Being busy. e.g. When their life feels too scheduled or planned they can feel paralyzed; unable to make forward progress because they feel so trapped.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that they are being held captive.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Being forced to do practical, technical tasks such as mathematical calculations or solving advanced physics problems.

Causes of Stress: Rigid structure and rules; Having to violate their deeply held values; Not enough alone time. Too much extroverting; Too many demands or obligations; Having to deal with excessive data; Long-term planning; Criticism; Lack of appreciation from others; Feeling that they are about to lose something (relationship/task, etc.).

When under stress, Specialists can often become passive aggressive, restless and defiant. If stress continues to build, Specialists may become self-destructive and careless of their own well-being in an effort to restore excitement or affirmation in their life. If a Specialist is in a state of chronic stress, they may fall into the grip of their inferior function - extroverted thinking, and become “the criticiser”. They may be harsh and critical of others, obsessing over their mistakes and others incompetence. They may have an intense urge to fix perceived problems or right wrongs, but this can often worsen the situation.

What to do: Give them some time alone to process their feelings and thoughts; Validate their feelings, and listen to them. Females are often ready to talk sooner about their feelings than males; Remind them of their strengths; Do not give them advice. It won’t help when they’re stressed; Do not try to reason with them or be logical. Just be patient, calm and affirming; Only after they have calmed down from the stress ask if they would like any help with solutions.

Stress Coping Ability: In the bottom 8.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Looks for hope.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of being trapped.

Specialists greatly fear being trapped in something that they cannot get out of. (Similar to the Counselor). They are free spirits who tend to make spontaneous decisions and follow their hearts. They fear making the wrong choice and becoming trapped in a situation they cannot get out of; whether it is a job, a relationship or an interstate move. They want their options to be open at all times, to always know they can get out of a situation if it turns sour.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Specialists crave authenticity and integrity in all relationships, especially the romantic ones. It takes a great deal of trust for them to let someone into their heart and their biggest worry is that they will do this only for the other person to use it against them. Whether the other person is a manipulator, a narcissist or liar they worry that they will fall for someone who will know exactly which buttons to push to make them love the other person only to reveal that the other person's true self is someone with deceitful motives.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Specialists prefer to avoid too much social interaction and often enjoy being with one close friend or loved one. They do have moments where they can be a bit dramatic though, especially if they are seeking the attention of a certain person. Specialists do dislike drama if it hurts someone else and will want to avoid that at any cost. They dislike feeling as if their actions have hurt someone else and will definitely not let their drama harm someone. Specialists do not mind a little drama since they dislike feeling stagnant for too long.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Specialists:

Your artwork has been discovered by a famous influencer and you’re catapulted to fame overnight! Unfortunately, the piece of artwork they discovered exposed the secrets of the people you are closest to and they are all furious about it. Now they confront you.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Enters an intense, but nonsensical, roast battle. Essentially, the Specialist does not know how to handle the roaster.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "Well, at least this will give me some good depressive lyric-writing material."

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Specialist will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May suddenly become bossy and judgmental of others abilities and competency. They may become hypersensitive to slights both real and imagined. The Specialist may have a tendency to put off and procrastinate about anything that may add to their emotional distress including mundane routine tasks that they abhor. They may also try to drown out the negative feelings with escapism and mindless thrill seeking. They might even try to "self medicate" with mind altering substances. Ideally, they may simply take time to relax and remove themselves from the source of their distress so they can reflect and meditate.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake enjoyment when under pressure.

Their mask: Trying hard to remind people of the beauty the world has with their art yet seeing them ruin it mercilessly.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Specialist up: Showing up to their home and having a sleep over.

What will vex Specialists: Arrogance; Others with closed minds; Prying; Attention seeking behaviour; Others half listening; Fear of Pressure.

How the Specialist will show signs of Depression: If someone close to them continues to push against beliefs.

What the Specialist fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
The Specialist is free-spirited, creative, pragmatic and combines an adventurous spirit with a down-to-earth sense of realism. They fear that the things that matter will slip through if the plan is not followed - cannot get the self managed super fund set up or the savings account is deficient. Another fear is that outside influences will cage the Specialist in and cause loss of freedom if something important is forgotten. Sometimes this fear is irrational and only requires a good talk with a friend to confirm that everything is under control and okay. Sometimes this fear is a warning that some steps need to be taken to ensure long-term security.

Possible Disorders: Schizotypal personality disorder; Cyclothymic Personality Disorder. (Rare - emotional ups and downs)

Rank 5/16.

10. Can it be the Investigator - INFJ?

The Investigator is the Greyhound

Outward signs shown when stressed: Indulger. The Investigator becomes impulsive and focused on physical experience.

Outward signs of phobia: Phobophobia. The Investigator has a fear of phobias.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Details. e.g. While they might be able to describe a detailed vision of the impacts of government corruption, they might forget that they need to eat.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that they are not being respected or listened to.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Going through life day after day and not seeing any meaning behind the work that they are doing.

Causes of Stress: Having to focus too much on sensory/concrete details; An overload of sensory stimulation or noise; Interruptions; Distress within a close relationship; Having their values violated; Not enough alone time. Too much extroverting; Working with closed-minded people; Lack of appreciation or understanding; Unfamiliar environments with overwhelming amounts of details; Having plans disrupted; Not having a clear direction; Lack of harmony; Criticism and conflict; Not being able to use their intuition or envision the future; Having to focus too much on the present.

When under stress, the Investigator feels fragmented or lost. They feel like they cannot be themselves and feel an urge to act a part to “survive” or fit in. This disassociation can cause physical symptoms like headaches, irritable bowel syndrome or nausea. The repressed feelings they are holding onto can cause them to become immobilised. If they are under chronic extreme stress, they may fall into the grip of their inferior function - extroverted sensing. When this happens, they may engage in indulgent, self-destructive habits like binge-eating, watching too much television, over-exercising or drinking too much. This often feels like an out-of-body experience to them. What they do provides no pleasure, but feels somewhat robotic and out of control. After this occurs, they dwell in self-hatred, falling even more into guilt over what they have done. They may become uncharacteristically angry and quick-tempered, unreasonable and irrational. They may become obsessed with details in their outer world; obsessively cleaning or doing housework. They stumble over their words, and their intense feelings may eventually lead them to a state of complete exhaustion.

What to do: Give them space; Reduce sensory stimulation; music, interruptions, TV, etc.; Let them express their thoughts and feelings; Understand that they may be irrational. Do not judge them; Do not give advice. This will only stress them out further; Let them take a break from some of their responsibilities; Encourage them to spend some time in nature, walking or reading a book; Take a walk with them if they want company; Encourage their less serious side, and let them relieve emotional tension by letting them cry through a sappy movie or novel of some sort; Be forgiving if they have been overly harsh or critical while under stress. Chances are, they will feel very guilty about it.

Stress Coping Ability: 2nd place. This may come as a bit of a surprise. However, most Investigators are very hard to crack. Some go well under pressure, others just rarely crack. Their ability to hold stems from a dominant introverted intuition, which is a champion in predicting future possibilities and preparing for them. This also gives an ability to read situations very well, giving an edge in handling stress.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Sorts through perspectives.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of humanity’s potential for evil.

Investigators crave a world where equality, compassion, and freedom reign. When they are inundated by news of injustice, corruption and cruelty they start to feel emotionally connected to all the pain around them. It can be difficult for them to detach from all the struggles that people encounter at the hands of others. It can feel impossible to focus or find their strong sense of vision and purpose when they know others are in pain or being treated unfairly. At the same time, many use their fear of evil to spur them towards speaking out against injustice. e.g. Mahatma Gandhi and Mary Wollstonecraft were Investigators who stood up for their beliefs and values. So did Adolf Hitler.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Investigators want to have a clear direction and vision for where they are going. Their biggest relationship fear is that they will meet someone who is consistently wishy-washy, hot and cold and emotionally erratic. They want someone they can count on, someone who is faithful and who will be transparent about their true needs and desires. Someone who follows through on their word is crucial to the Investigator's well-being.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Investigators tend to truly dislike certain kinds of drama but might find themselves involved in it involuntarily. People often come to their Investigator friends with all of their life and relationship drama in the hope that they will help them. This interest in caring for others is what drags the Investigator into the drama of other people. They can have a secret flare for dramatics and sometimes can appear over the top when it comes to certain things because of their passion. This is because the Investigator is intense people with powerful emotions.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Investigators:

You set up a system that was meant to incite world peace. Due to an impossible-to-predict oversight, the system is now functioning in a destructive capacity. You have no ability to dismantle the system and everyone assumes you tricked them into following it on purpose.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Says, "Haha… hahaha" and thinks about it for hours later. The roaster needs to be aware that the Investigator is the premier doorslammer and may have to take the consequences.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "Ahh, why did she say no? What does this mean? Did I move too fast to ask her out? Am I being too much of a player? No, maybe I should have asked her sooner? Or maybe I should have trusted my instinct that she just saw me as a friend? But then would I always wonder what could have happened between us? But what if it is awkward now when we try to interact? What am I going to say to her half-cousin twice removed if I happen to run into her at the shopping centre tomorrow? {Done lying in bed all night with brain in overdrive}.

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Investigator will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May get emotional and moody and may become overly critical and snippy. The Investigator can often become upset due to their propensity for soaking up and internalising the emotions of those around them both positive and negative. Other people’s bad vibes and emotional baggage can easily infect and poison their psychological well being. They are often willing to hear about other people’s problems but try not to inconvenience them with theirs. They may sulk and wallow a bit in self pity perhaps with some sad music or seek reassurance and affection from loved ones.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake it when having a strong emotion against someone as it will be written all over the Investigator's face if eye contact is made. The Investigator will try to avoid you if they dislike you.

Their mask: People not accepting who they are but what they should be.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Investigator up: Going on a picnic with them and allowing them to open up about how they feel.

What will vex Investigators: Interruptions; Being told to 'get over it'; That others will condemn insights - 'that will never happen'; Being told they have been figured out; Receiving advice; Being considered too serious; Being told they are not trying hard enough; Realising that they will never be understood; Others considering their ideas are weird; Fear of Themselves.

How the Investigator will show signs of Depression: If they feel powerless to help others or if they feel overwhelmed by the world around them.

What the Investigator fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
Big-picture focussed and imaginative, the Investigator is always keeping an eye on where things will lead. Fear could be something like the destruction of the environment or maybe seeing a friend going in a direction that will inevitably end poorly. Whatever the pattern is, it is usually something that they understand on a gut level but struggle to explain in words. Sleep is lost wondering how to fix things, how to stop a negative pattern from repeating itself or how to warn people so that things can improve. Investigators should realise that even if their insights are correct it will do no good to catastrophise or overwhelm themselves. Need to split facts and beliefs. Write down insights, thoughts, and perceptions in a journal and then close it and sleep on it. The mind typically synthesises all this information causing a fresher perspective in the morning.

Possible Disorders: Borderline personality disorder; Schizotypal personality disorder; Dependent personality disorder; Avoidant personality disorder.

Procrastination Tendency: Unlikely. Rank 9/16.

11. Can it be the Agent - INFP?

The Agent is the Tibetan Terrier

Outward signs shown when stressed: Criticiser. The Agent becomes more critical, sarcastic and blunt.

Outward signs of phobia: Cacophobia. The Agent has a fear of ugliness.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Meaninglessness. e.g. Day-to-day tasks, minutiae or even work obligations that are about profit can feel wearying and draining.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that they are being yelled at and facing unyielding conflict.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Talking to people; realisng their romantic interests were not who they thought they were.

Causes of Stress: Rigidity in rules and timelines; Having values violated; Not enough time alone. Too much extroverting; Too many demands on their time; Small-talk; A lack of authenticity from others; Having their creativity stifled; Having to focus too extensively on sensory/concrete details; Criticism or confrontation; Fear that they might lose someone or something (relationship/task, etc,..).

When under stress, an Agent gets lost in internal turmoil. They feel caught between pleasing others and maintaining their own integrity and taking care of their well-being. Their natural tendency to identify with others, compounded with their self-sacrificial tendencies, leaves them confused about who they really are. They feel lost and perplexed during stressful times; and as stress builds they can fall into the grip of their inferior function - extroverted thinking. When this happens, they will do things that are typically out of character. They may become obsessed with fixing perceived problems and righting wrongs. They may blurt out hostile thoughts or engage in destructive fantasies directed at just about anyone available. They also may have biting sarcasm and cynicism. They may become aggressively critical to others and themselves, dwelling on all the "facts" necessary to support their overwhelming sense of failure.

What to do: Give them space and time alone to sort out their feelings; Validate their feelings; Remind them of their strengths; Do not give them advice. This will only make them feel worse; Let them “get away” from it all; Exercise can help. However, with these types it is best not to suggest it when they are stressed, but after, as a solution; Forgive them if they’ve been overly critical while stressed; Let them work on a project they have been interested in, but maybe have been too busy to spend time on.

Stress Coping Ability: 6th place. Being very principle-focused, planning and forming and conceptualising ideas are things that come naturally to the Agent. But, unfortunately, this is not translated into very logic-centric topics. However the Agent can, in fact, plan very well; even better than all extroverts and all sensors (the bottom 8). However, planning is not a priority, which in turn, can make the Agent rather unprepared for unwanted situations.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Analyses.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of others not living up to their ideals.

Agents are often called the Idealists, and it’s not hard to see why. They have very high standards for themselves and rely on a strong set of convictions and values. They have a powerful moral code that guides them in all of their decisions. They also believe in everything they do having meaning and purpose. Some fear getting to the end of their lives and realising that they wasted their potential or did not do anything significant to make the world a better place.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Agents are are deeply loyal and understanding and fear getting involved in a relationship where their loyalty to their partner is tested against their loyalty to themselves. They crave freedom and autonomy in who they are as a person. The idea of being “labeled” by their partner, micro-managed or controlled is terrifying. This fear is so real that they probably get queasy when the significant other does things like orders food at a table or tells them what they “should” do.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Agents definitely dislike most drama and try their hardest to avoid it when they can. They do not enjoy being caught in the middle of fights or relationship struggles and prefer to keep the peace. Agents might be a little dramatic when it comes to the things they are passionate about and can appear emotional at times. They simply are honest about their feelings and dislike hiding their intentions from others. They have powerful emotions and morals which can cause them to appear dramatic to people who do not understand them. Ultimately Agents dislike drama if it is going to harm or upset someone.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Agents:

A piece of art that you put into the world with the intent of inspiring peace and understanding has been misinterpreted and is now being used to support an evil, intolerant regime.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Says nothing, on the basis that nothing fazes them. The Agent may be very unpredictable in such circumstances.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says nothing. {Cannot say anything because you are buried under 2 metres of tissue paper}.

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Agent will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May have their sleep and eating habits disrupted. They can become very touchy and avoid anything that brings them discomfort. Emotional outbursts are likely and they may become defiant and uncooperative. When something is really bothering them, they will lose enthusiasm and withdraw from others. Although they would desire someone to understand them and offer support, the Agent may generally keep what is bugging them under wraps and try to distract themselves by busying themselves with some project.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake an exaggerated or exhilarating sense of power, strength or masculinity. A massive Agent would not hurt a fly.

Their mask: All the judgments they have received for their passions.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Agent up: Advising them to daydream.

What will vex Agents: Being phony, dishonest or pretentious; Narrow minded judgments; Being put on the spot; Others with poor listening skills; Fear of Meaninglessness.

How the Agent will show signs of Depression: If they believe they are not doing enough for others or because they do not feel understood by people.

What the Agent fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
The Agent looks at the state of the world and sees corruption, greed, and pain everywhere. Reading a story in the news about someone who was hurt causes imagination to feel the depths of that experience. Agents worry about a future where freedom is a distant memory and conformity is the only way to survive. Fear for the people who are being persecuted, dismissed or lost. The troubles of the world can become a heavy weight. Possible solutions are unplugging, turn off the phone, TV and social media and get outside in the natural world. Should try to write down 10 things for which they are thankful for before going to bed. Get enough sleep. Take a hot bath or read a favourite book. Confide in a trusted friend with the worries or play with a favourite pet. Find a simple but meaningful way to contribute to the world, whether that means helping out at a soup kitchen or volunteering at an animal shelter to walk dogs.

Possible Disorders: Borderline personality disorder; Schizotypal personality disorder; Paranoid personality disorder; Histrionic Personality Disorder.

Rank 2/16.

12. Can it be the Achiever - ISTP?

The Achiever is the Bassett Hound

Outward signs shown when stressed: Emoter. The Achiever becomes more emotionally reactive and concerned with what other people think of them.

Outward signs of phobia: Heliophobia. The Achiever has a fear of the sun.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Tact. e.g. They might come off as tactless or a bit dismissive when someone’s feeling all the feelings, which can lead to those awkward 'let’s just avoid each other" moments.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that someone is destroying their hard work and inventions.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Being trapped in a system such as having to do a lot of technical homework; being told what to do; passive-aggressive behaviour.

Causes of Stress: Tight restrictions and a rigid structure; Being in controlling relationships; Dealing with irrational people; Having to use theoretical or intuitive concepts for a prolonged period; Being in an emotionally charged environment; Lack of alone time; Too much extroverting; Being in a non-challenging work environment; Doing repetitive, mundane tasks; Not having their personal values respected or validated; Workaholic schedules that lead to work / life imbalance.

When Achievers experience an overload of stress, they may try to respond by lashing out against whatever is causing it. They may violate rules and regulations that they feel are controlling them; they may feel a need to "get even". They may become emotionally obsessed with logic and proving a point, while losing track of organisation and losing objects or misplacing them. In cases of chronic stress, Achievers may fall into the grip of their inferior function - extroverted feeling, and become very emotive. They will become hypersensitive about their relationships with others and misinterpret small, insignificant details into the belief that others dislike or hate them. They may become uncharacteristically emotional and/or bitter towards others.

What to do: Give them alone time and space; Excuse them from some of their responsibilities; Let them “get away” from everything; Do not ask how they feel; Encourage them to exercise; Let them read a mystery novel or do something that engages light problem solving; Forgive their out-of-character behaviour.

Stress Coping Ability: In the bottom 8.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Observes.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of physical helplessness.

Achievers are extremely independent and self-sufficient individuals and they despise the idea of having to rely wholly on others. Becoming physically handicapped in some way where they have to rely on the help of loved ones is by far their worst fear. They may be convinced that they are unloved and ultimately unlovable.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Achievers are independent souls who hunger for autonomy and a sense of freedom and adventure. In a relationship, they desire someone who will stay by their side during the adventures. Someone who will not tie them down, but who they can be loyal to and trust. They fear becoming trapped and unable to be independent. They do not want to have to ask permission to go on a hike, or worry about offending someone if they need some alone time. They need a partner who does not feel like a manager.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Achievers definitely dislike drama and will do their best to avoid it at all costs. If they are around someone who is constantly over dramatic and emotional, the Achievers will become very frustrated. They often prefer people who are secure and stable and dislike emotionally messy individuals. Achievers enjoy having excitement in their lives, but they do not want this in the form of drama. They would much rather seek out exciting new hobbies and fun things to participate in with their loved ones.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Achievers:

You become an overnight celebrity. You wake up one morning with reporters in your house, recording every move and interviewing you about everything you do. There is nothing you do can get them to leave or lose interest.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Says "No u". The Achiever is not impressed with such lunatic behaviour.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "I’d rather play video games than be in a relationship anyway."

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Achiever will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May be likely to withdraw and become more quiet and detached from others. They tend not to express what is bugging them preferring instead to reflect and figure things out for themselves, perhaps while doing things they enjoy. When they are upset, the normally cool headed and mild Achiever can become temperamental and easily triggered into an emotional outburst. They may feel insecure and try to overcompensate by ramping their productivity and sense of self worth through what they can do and achieve.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake liking drama.

Their mask: Knowing they have to do something outside of themselves to achieve a goal but wanting to be real to themselves at the same time.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Achiever up: Making them go on an adventure to get their mind off their troubles.

What will vex Achievers: Bad driving; Complaining; Inefficiency and incompetence; Chatterboxes; Emotional overreactions; Fear of Restrictions.

How the Achiever will show signs of Depression: If they seclude themselves for long periods of time and will completely alienate themselves from others. Will not notice that they are depressed for a long time.

What the Achiever fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
The Achiever is independent and logical, generally stoic and reserved, and may might pride themselves in not being afraid of anything. Knows what is real and what is irrational. Their fear is the idea of someone close struggling and not being there to defend or protect them. e.g. A loved one dying, a child getting hurt, someone hurting your dog. If someone is bullying a defenceless person the Achiever is likely to step right in and teach that bully a lesson that will never be forgotten. Fear that plagues the Achiever tends to occur when they feel physically inept or incapable of protecting those close or themselves and their own autonomy. Sometimes this fear might serve as a reminder for them to send a text to the person you care about letting them know how appreciated they are. Sometimes the fear is just temporary and some sleep will blunt its sharp edges.

Possible Disorders: Antisocial Personality Disorder.

Rank 8/16.

13. Can it be the Practitioner - ISFJ?

The Practitioner is the Alaskan Malamute

Outward signs shown when stressed: Dramatiser. The Practitioner imagines catastrophes and numerous negative possibilities. The future seems bleak and uncertain.

Outward signs of phobia: Insectophobia. The Practitioner has a fear of insects.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Change. e.g. When faced with change, they might feel like a startled deer in headlights, frozen in a mix of bewilderment and panic.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that there is a loss of family and familial relationships.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Any sort of conflict.

Causes of Stress: Overexerting themselves by saying “yes” to too many projects; Conflict or criticism; Lack of positive feedback; Environments filled with tension; Looming deadlines; Being asked to do things in a way that is not clearly defined; Having to overuse being in the role of having to constantly act as “the responsible one"; Dealing too long with abstract or theoretical concepts; Unfamiliar territory or uncertainty.

When faced with stress, Practitioners become discouraged and depressed. They start to imagine all the things that could go wrong and they may feel a strong sense of inadequacy. They may feel that everything is all wrong, or that they can not do anything right. If they are in a state of chronic stress, they may fall into the grip of their inferior function - extroverted intuition. When this happens they may start acting completely out of character. They may be at odds with normally relied upon facts and details, they may see everything as awful and feel “doomed”. They may become withdrawn, angry, irritable and pessimistic. They will probably feel emotionally overwhelmed and find themselves worrying about all kinds of horrible possibilities.
When they are under terrible stress their whole cognitive stack is reversed. They see everything gloomy, jump to conclusions, raise their voice without any cause and do not listen to any arguments - except those that confirm their ‘reading into people’s intentions’. But this is rare, but easy to observe indeed. On an everyday basis they are very warm, kindhearted people. A Jekyll and Hyde persona. As long as things are going their way or they are in charge, this pattern can be compassionate and accommodating. You will see a totally different person if you do not do what they wish, if you criticise them in some way, or if you dare to refute them. They will get angry, dismissive, passive-aggressive and harsh

What to do: Give them space or time alone to work through their feelings; Provide provable affirmations about ways they have overcome situations like this in the past; Help them break down problems into manageable pieces; Do not give generalised compliments. Make compliments specific; Put a problem or task in sequential order; Do not brainstorm. When they are in the grip of extroverted intuition, this will only make things worse; Let them engage their auxiliary extroverted feeling by reading materials that are personally moving, or spiritual; Encourage them to get some physical exercise (without making it sound like an insult); Let them talk about their irrational fears or feelings and give them quiet, calm reassurance; Take them seriously. Do not patronize or judge them.

Stress Coping Ability: In the bottom 8.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Nurtures themselves and others.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of harm to family members.

Practitioners are deeply attached to their loved ones and, similarly to Objective Thinkers, had fears about security and home invasion. The idea of anything harmful happening to someone they cared about is an incentive for many to learn self-defence or have security systems installed in their homes. They also tend to be exceptionally careful drivers.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Practitioners are deeply loyal and generous and craves for a sense of security and belonging in a relationship. They fear getting stuck with someone who is wishy-washy, volatile or unpredictable. They want their home to feel like a haven from the chaos of the world outside. If they come home and the partner places them in situations that are chaotic, that is something that will weigh heavily. They want to be with someone who respects their space, time and need for harmony.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Practitioners are peace-keepers and often do their best to avoid drama. They want to make their loved ones happy and, because of this, drama is often very upsetting for Practitioners. They will do whatever they can to calm things down and will attempt to fix whatever problems have come up. Practitioners definitely do not enjoy causing drama and instead will work hard to fix the drama in their environment. Practitioners definitely prefer to keep the peace, which makes drama their enemy.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Practitioners:

There is actually only one way to please the people you love and it involves breaking rules, challenging authority, duping the system and instilling chaos where there once was harmony.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Glares at the roaster with such intense anger on their face that the roaster is worried that the Practitioner is actually mad but then the Practitioner smiles and laugh it off. The Practitioner is showing classic passive-aggressive behaviour, for which they are renowned.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, {To the love interest} "I’m so sorry you had to reject me. I’m sure that must have been very hard emotionally for you. But I just want you to know that I’m here for you."

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Practitioner will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May withdraw, becoming quieter than usual and may harbour much of their negative feelings inside. They may shrink away from socialising and immerse themselves in mindless cleaning and organising to distract from their issues. When upset, they may indulge in sensual delights, sometimes to excess. The Practitioner takes solace in words of encouragement from trusted authority figures and loved ones. It also makes them feel better to help others and be extra nice to them. When upset, the Practitioner can slip into some erratic and uncharacteristic behaviour and will sometimes need support and reassurance from others to help them heal and restore balance in themselves.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake enjoyment in a situation involving conflict.

Their mask: Knowing they will always sacrifice themselves and will never get what they seek in return enough.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Practitioner up: 'Cuddling up to them' and reminding them of all the fun times spent together.

What will vex Practitioners: Inconsiderate behaviour; Interrupted plans; Touchy-feely strangers; Lateness; Bad grammar and poor spelling; Fear of Loss.

How the Practitioner will show signs of Depression: If they find themselves more closed off from the world around them and be afraid to step out of their comfort zone.

What the Practitioner fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
The Practitioner is conscientious and pragmatic and likes to create a stable, tranquil atmosphere for the people cared about. They like consistency and knowing that the people close are all on good terms. When conflict arises, particularly unresolved conflict, it feels like the Practitioner can never rest till peace is made. The Practitioner might lie awake re-playing everything they did wrong even if the other person is more at fault. Also, works too hard to find a practical solution for a problem that has nothing to do with the Practitioner. Has a hard time resting with animosity or knowing that someone close is in emotional distress. Should remind themselves that only they can control how they feel. Needs to realise that everyone encounters enemies and should concentrate who the true friends are and who really cares. Also it is not the Practitioner's job to “spin the plates” for everyone close as people need to learn to solve their own problems. Should pull energy in if getting too stressed and burned out and remember that sometimes the kindest thing to do is to let people deal with their own feelings.

Possible Disorders: Obsessive compulsive personality disorder; Dependent Personality Disorder.

Procrastination Tendency: Unlikely. Rank 12/16.

14. Can it be the Objective Thinker - ISTJ?

The Objective Thinker is the Bernese Mountain Dog

Outward signs shown when stressed: Dramatiser. The Objective Thinker imagines catastrophes and numerous negative possibilities. The future seems bleak and uncertain.

Outward signs of phobia: Atelophobia. The Objective Thinker has a fear of imperfection.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Sponteneity. e.g. In the desire for tranquility and consistency, they can run from spontaneous or impulsive ideas like the plague.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that there is disorder.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Going to parties and loosening up; doing things just for fun that do not seem to have a direct purpose.

Causes of Stress: Being in an environment that is in disarray; Lack of structure in a work environment; Looming deadlines; Being forced or asked to do things that do not make sense to them; Being asked to do something without a plan or direction; Frequent change; Having to innovate without any past experience to rely on; Being asked to do something spontaneously; Too much extroversion (excess people contact, being with large groups of people); Emotionally charged situations; Expressing personal feelings to others; Unfamiliar surroundings; Maneuvering interpersonal conflict; Dealing too long with abstract or theoretical concepts.

When faced with stress overload, Objective Thinkers may fall into “catastrophe mode”, where they see nothing but all the potential of what could go wrong. They may beat themselves up; berating themselves for things which could have been done differently, or duties which they failed to perform. They will lose their ability to see things calmly and reasonably and can become depressed at what they see as a bleak future. Under chronic stress, the Objective Thinker may fall into the grip of their inferior function - extroverted intuition, and become a “dramatiser”. They may become intensely angry, rigid in what they are doing, outwardly critical, pessimistic and embrace an overwhelming fear of the future.

What to do: Give them plenty of space; Listen, and provide provable affirmation of how they have overcome or done something well in the past; Break a task down into manageable pieces; Do not give generalized compliments; Put things that have to be done in sequential order; Do not brainstorm. If they are in the grip of their inferior function, extroverted intuition, brainstorming will only make things worse; Do not give them more to do. Give them a break from responsibilities if possible; Take them seriously. Do not patronize or judge them; Encourage them to exercise, unless this would sound like an insult.

Stress Coping Ability: In the bottom 8.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Charts a plan of action.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of crowds.

Objective Thinkers hate the idea of crowds. Privacy and personal space is essential. Lack of security came in at a close second. These were the types most likely to have a home security system and also most likely to have a gun (where permitted), that they knew how to use, within the range of their bed. Many have the fear of home invasion as well, similar to the Practitioner.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Objective Thinkers are very private, thoughtful individuals who take their relationships very seriously. For this reason, they fear finally opening their heart to someone only to be rejected in the end. They dislike uncertainty and unpredictability, so the very nature of romantic relationships and dating can put them off. They want to know what they are getting into and where it is going. They worry about being emotionally stuck in limbo while they or the romantic interest figure out where the relationship is going to go.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Objective Thinkers definitely dislike drama and will do their best to avoid it at all costs. They might find themselves caught up in the drama of others especially since they have a deeply caring side to them. After a while though, the Objective Thinker will find themselves pulling away from people who are overly dramatic. If the drama of others negatively affects their lives they will definitely not want to be around this type of behaviour. They do not mind someone who is a little dramatic for the sake of humor or silliness, since it is not actually harming anyone.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Objective Thinkers:

You have been appointed to a highly-esteemed leadership position. Unfortunately, the people you are meant to be managing are singularly interested in challenging and breaking the rules at every opportunity. You will have to face the consequences if the situation continues.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Rolls eyes. The Objective Thinker has nothing but contempt for such senseless behaviour.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "I thought offering to go to the physics library for a date with her would sound romantic, but for some reason she didn’t think so."

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Objective Thinker will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May become flustered and have a nervous breakdown. They may cope by trying to rationalise and convince themselves that things are not so bad. They will distract themselves with work or reading and may become more strident and critical of disorder and inefficiency. They withdraw emotionally and focus on what they can do to make things better so that they can feel a sense of control over their situation. They may resort to micromanaging their affairs and the excessive scheduling out of tasks with a sense of panicked or aggressive urgency.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake joy in extended and abstract "what-if" conversations.

Their mask: Not being recognised when they try hard and when they are left behind, given how loyal they are.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Objective Thinker up: Taking them to a quiet place.

What will vex Objective Thinkers: Crowds; Strange environment; Uncertainty; Financial ruin; Abandonment; Home invasion; Loss of loved ones; Ill health; Driving over train tracks; Unexpected phone calls; Fear of Inadequacy.

How the Objective Thinker will show signs of Depression: If they keep to themselves and might be hard to reach and will continue performing their daily tasks and might dive harder into their work.

What the Objective Thinker fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
The Objective Thinker is a firm believer in hard work and creating stability for themselves and the people close. Feeling like life is out-of-control or the people close cannot be counted on is maddening. Likes knowing what to depend on and who can be trusted with absolute certainty. Sometimes feels like all the work done is taken for granted and that nobody actually notices any of it. If has to wake up to an emotionally chaotic, unstable environment may find it hard to relax at night and rest. The trepidation of knowing that is what awaits the next morning can make it hard to settle down. A possible solution is to recognise that is probably time to assess the situation with someone absolutely trusted. Find out if there are any inter-personal issues that need sorting out. Getting regular, scheduled alone time and some semblance of a schedule is vital. It is also important for people to respect an Objective Thinkers need for certainty. Sometimes 'counselling' can be an effective way to deal with this and sometimes just an open and honest conversation is all it takes.

Possible Disorders: Avoidant Personality Disorder; Depressive Personality Disorder.

Procrastination Tendency: Unlikely. Rank 16/16.

15. Can it be the Perfectionist - INTP?

The Perfectionist is the Papillon

Outward signs shown when stressed: Emoter. The Perfectionist becomes more emotionally reactive and concerned with what other people think of them.

Outward signs of phobia: Antropophobia. The Perfectionist has a fear of people or society.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Feelings. e.g. Their least-favored process is Feeling and they may, at times, seem tactless, oblivious and out of touch with the needs of others.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that they are not being allowed to gain more knowledge.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Having to work within a structured environment; being forced to adhere to a certain plan or be made to fit within a box.

Causes of Stress: Being in an environment where they feel controlled by others; Being required to do simple and repetitive tasks; Being surrounded by individuals they see as incompetent; A lack of autonomy; Being in charge of the quality of another person’s work; Not enough alone time. Too much extroverting; Being immersed in emotionally charged environments; Being in a place where their expertise is not appreciated; People “barging in” on their space; Not having their strongly held values validated.

When a Perfectionist begins to experience stress, they often feel highly self-critical and powerless. If stress continues, the Perfectionist feels as if their mind is blocked and they can not access all the vital information they have stored there. Their creativity comes to a halt and they may suffer from stage fright, writer’s block, and a general inhibition of their usual ingenious thinking. The Perfectionist may become self-conscious and distracted in anticipation of failure. If they become too overwhelmed with stress, they may stop taking any risks and fail to gain the expertise and mastery they need. In the case of chronic stress, may fall into the grip of their inferior function - extroverted feeling. This may cause them to have uncharacteristic emotional outbursts, and become edgy, illogical, inefficient and obsessed with details.

What to do: Give them alone time and space; Excuse them from some of their responsibilities; Let them get away from everything; Do not ask them how they feel or if they are okay; Encourage them to have some alone time exercising; Let them know it is okay to feel unreasonable sometimes; Stay out of the way and forgive out-of-characteristic behaviour.

Stress Coping Ability: 4th place. The Perfectionist's plans tend to work on principle — when called into situations expected and learned from the past. However, what makes the classic Perfectionist miss out on the top 3 is not their ability to plan itself, but their ability to predict the end game. Most unconventional Perfectionists who use a wildly honed introverted intuition, however, may make it to the top of the list, but these comments relate to the 'standard' types.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Gathers information.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of rejection.

Perfectionists hold the fear of rejection higher than any other pattern. Perhaps during extreme stress they experience a profound feeling of 'separateness' from the whole of humanity May relive childhood feelings of being extremely different from other children, marching to a different and unacceptable drummer, often with no clue about how others see things.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Perfectionists find that autonomy is vital to who they are as a person, so their biggest relationship fear involves being “crowded out” of their own life. Being with someone who spreads themselves out in all the areas of their home, fills up their phone with text messages and begins to micro-manage their life causes major panic. They need space and quiet for their own thoughts and hobbies and, when someone starts to intrude on their space it can make them anxious and irritable.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Perfectionists truly dislike drama especially if they feel like it is affecting the lives of others. They truly hate feeling like their time is being wasted by the dramatics of others. Perfectionists might become frustrated by people who are overly dramatic and emotionally expressive. They do dislike drama but they might find themselves observing certain dramatic people in order to understand their behaviour. Perfectionists are observers, and prefer to analyse the behaviour of others rather than participate directly in it. This helps them understand how who they can and cannot trust and helps the Perfectionist decide who they want to let into their world.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Perfectionists:

Before experimenting with any new idea, you must first pass the idea through a review board who loathes change and wish to uphold the status quo at all costs. Illegally you conducted experiments that are punishable by death.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Says, "Yeah well, uh… you suck!" and thinks of an amazing roast later. The Perfectionist may well boil over though.

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "But I followed all of the 104 Rules for Success For Asking a Girl Out. Where could I have possibly gone wrong?"

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Perfectionist will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May tend to ignore things that get under their skin until it reaches boiling point. They become more passive aggressive and sarcastic but will hardly admit to having a problem. Although the Perfectionist hase little reservation about engaging in litigious debates over ideas and views, they are less comfortable with conflicts in which their emotions are involved. Because they hold so much inside, they can develop an unhealthy anger that only gets worse because they are reluctant to acknowledge their emotions. They can dwell obsessively on picking apart what is bothering them and become intellectually combative and self righteous towards others in the process.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake being a social butterfly.

Their mask: Never feeling like they know enough and knowing the world will never let them be enough.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Perfectionist up: Promising to not be a 'Richard Cranium'.

What will vex Perfectionists: Gossip; Being told to smile; Others making quick judgments; Others pulling rank; Being pushed to socialise too much; Fear of Disappointment.

How the Perfectionist will show signs of Depression: If they have surprising emotional outbursts. If they are feeling pressured from those closest to them, it might result in them snapping at those people.

What the Perfectionist fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
The Perfectionist likes to appear calm, cool, and collected on the surface and values autonomy and their own personal space. Digging deep into a theory or philosophy gives them a thrill. But underneath all that independence they crave meaningful companionship. The Perfectionist worries about what they say, whether too much is revealed or whether they will ever know enough information to be content. Fear is uncertainty about where they stand with the people close where depth is wanted but they do not want to put yourself on display or risk being too vulnerable or be rejected. Michael Jordan was cut from varsity basketball in his sophomore year because he "wasn’t good enough". Putting themselves out into the world to show off their work, making friends or pursuing a relationship can be a scary thing. But without trying the Perfectionist will never know what could be gained.

Possible Disorders: Obsessive compulsive personality disorder; Schizotypal personality disorder; Antisocial personality disorder; Paranoid personality disorder; Schizoid Personality Disorder, Hoarding.

Rank 4/16.

16. Can it be the Enhancer - INTJ?

The Enhancer is a Lone Wolf

Outward signs shown when stressed: Indulger. The Enhancer becomes impulsive and focused on physical experience.

Outward signs of phobia: Aphenphosmphobia. The Enhancer has a fear of being touched.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause weakness, failure etc.: Over-stimulation. e.g. Fluorescent lights can feel painful, the mess can become overwhelming and aches and pains seem to erupt out of nowhere. During these moments of literally painful awareness, they tend to rush around trying to "fix" everything, clean everything and organize their world; often to the point of exhaustion.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause the worst outcome of all: When they find that they they have failed at something.

Maxi Piss-Off Factors™ that cause stress: Trying to find a romantic partner; situations in which an authority seems to give them demands without a defensible reason.

Causes of Stress: Being in an environment that does not appreciate their skills, visions or ideas; Not enough alone time; Too much extroverting; Too much noise or sensory input; Working with those they see as lazy, incompetent or ignorant; Having to pay attention to too many details at once; Being in unfamiliar surroundings; Having their well-settled plans disrupted; Too much focus on the here-and-now; Not being able to use their intuition to envision the future.

When in a state of stress, the Enhancer can feel an immense amount of pressure – as if everything is on the line. This often means the ability to produce something significant is somehow stifled. They may find themselves overwhelmed and thinking about ideas and options that do not have a productive end. As stress increases, the Enhancer can become argumentative and disagreeable. Social interaction becomes increasingly difficult and they may become preoccupied with obsessive ideas and plans. They may start to spend a massive amount of time fighting horrible thoughts and feelings of worthlessness. They will ruminate (go over and over in the mind) about their mistakes, inadequacies and weaknesses and stop progress on a project for fear of failure. In a case of chronic stress may fall into the grip of their inferior function - extroverted sensing. When this happens, they may give into self-destructive indulgences such as over-eating, over-exercising, over using alcohol or buying lots of useless items. They may obsessively clean or re-organise files.

What to do: Give them space, and time alone to process their thoughts and feelings; Reduce sensory stimulation like noise, TV, radio, or bright lights; Let them express their thoughts and feelings without judgment; Understand that they may be irrational; Do not give them advice. This will only make them feel worse; Give them a break from responsibilities; Encourage them to get enough sleep at night; Help them lighten their schedule, or cancel unnecessary activities; Recommend avoidance of non essential socialising activities; Have a best friend who can listen; Encourage movies, reading, playing music; Do not give them caffeine or sugar; After some time of solitude, encourage them to get a change of scenery by going outdoors.

Stress Coping Ability: 1st place. What rates the Enhancer ahead of the Investigator is not their introverted intuition but the support of their extroverted thinking. The Enhancer is the master planner and plans absolutely everything and they rarely fall short of future-assessment. Their dominant introverted intuition alone does not just play a critical role, but their extroverted thinking simplifies and structures their plans and journeys like a detailed itinerary. Even when ongoing situations go pear shaped, the introverted intuition keeps working like a background processor, perceiving the situation, while the extroverted thinking manages the stockpile of information in detail. Another factor is they are not threatened at all by conflict or criticism. However, when an Enhancer cracks which is a rare event, they break down the worst. Like a diamond; very strong, but very brittle. The writer of Oxor, Elizabeth Hunter™ an Enhancer, had a stroke at the age of 45 and the hospital in San Francisco said stress was a massively significant factor.

Method of dealing with uncertainty: Strategizes.

Demonstrated Fear Attribute™: That of becoming insane.

Enhancers hold the fear of rejection higher than any other pattern. The mind is the ultimate playground of this pattern. This is where they can play with perspectives, immerse themselves in intuition and explore mental strategies. The idea of losing their mental clarity is by far the worst outcome they could imagine.

Relationship Fear Level Analyser™:

Enhancers have done the research already. They know that around 39% of marriages end in divorce and many more relationships wind up in discontented co-existence. They worry that their cynicism and rational mindedness will result in them being disinclined to pursue romantic experiences. They worry about falling for someone who they know they cannot see a future with. It might be the enthusiastic extrovert who charms their socks off but they know would grate on the nerves in ten years. Or maybe the passionate introvert who warms their heart, but the Enhancer would inevitably offend after the first date. At times, they can be too pessimistic about the success of a potential relationship and may shut down opportunities before they are allowed to play themselves out.

Drama Queen Level Analyser™:

Enhancers usually hate dramatics and dislike being around people who are overly dramatic. Someone who chooses to be emotional about the most pointless things will absolutely annoy the Enhancer. They prefer to avoid other people’s pointless drama and will keep to themselves as much as they can. They would much rather have people in their lives that avoid drama and who prefer to participate in activities that enrich their minds and souls. Enhancers do not mind small theatrics and understand that sometimes people need to dramatise in order to fully make their point known. In most cases though, Enhancers prefer logic over drama and over the top behaviour.

Dreadometer™ - Aversion as well as anxiety for Enhancers:

You have at last discovered the true, universal secret that governs the universe. You can save humanity with it, but humanity will only listen to celebrities such as Paris Hilton, who you have to teach and she remarks that these truths are not hot.

Roastometer™ - Reaction if you are roasted: Ignores the roaster as considers the roaster is only only roasting them because they are jealous. If the roaster never wants to hear from the Enhancer again, then this is an excellent way to go. The Enhancer will make you pay; roasting shows what a true fool the roaster is and is evidence that they have not learned Disc and the Oxor Method™, either! Hint: If the roaster has the Enhancer as a boss and has ambition, then if they embarrass the Enhancer in this fashion, then the roaster can kiss their promotion opportunities good-bye. Remember that you found that out at oxor.com.au. Were you too late, though?

Rejectometer™ - Reaction if you are rejected: Says, "Oh, you think rejecting me is just that easy? We’ll see about that, my friend, we’ll see about that." {Rubs hands slowly and devises a plot to completely destroy other person’s reputation.}

Upsetometer™ - This is what the Enhancer will do when emotionally disturbed or agitated: May tend not to show what they are feeling. They will likely withdraw and become more quiet than usual or sulk. They will likely go for a walk to blow off some steam and gather their thoughts. Other people may not even notice anything is wrong since the Enhancer is so often very stoic and private about what they feel. When in a state of malcontent they can become testy and cold-hearted. The Enhancer typically does not seek advice or counsel from others and prefers instead to assess their issues privately until they can reach a verdict of their own accord.

Do not attempt excessive skin contact, especially in public. No excessive sweet talk. Do not talk too much, do not promise too many things. Just, get on with it. Do not take away freedom. Do not tell an Enhancer that they cannot go there or that they cannot meet someone. Let the Enhancer go to where they want and other can go where they want. Do not respond to a dinner invitation with “Anywhere you want”. Do not use the expression “I'm happy if you are happy”.

Cannot pretend - having an overt and sustained false appearance when in this situation: Cannot fake being a social butterfly.

Their mask: Emotions they have kept hidden for years. They have bad memories of Intoverted Feeling and seek security too much to let emotions out.

Cheer them upometer™ - This is what might cheer the Enhancer up: Helping them to fix their problem by arranging a plan.

What will vex Enhancers: Interruptions; Surprises; Small Talk; Emotional manipulation; Not being seen as competent; Interference of 'alone time'; Fear of Failure.

How the Enhancer will show signs of Depression: If they have irrational thoughts will often attempt to search for things that can quell this problem. They might try diving into things that have helped them feel happy before, but some of these things are not the mostly healthy outlets e.g. drinking or reckless behaviour which will fail. Will not ask for help and might even revert into themselves.

What the Enhancer fears and a possible solution: Fear is hard to view but you have the upper hand if you know the pattern based on other criteria that you have found on this site.
The Enhancer is typically sure of their vision and determined to achieve it and many people think there is nothing that they fear. They like to show a brave face to the world, but this does not mean that nothing worries the Enhancer at all. They know that fear of failure is irrational and that bravely focussing on the goal is the smartest thing to do. But sometimes they feel concerned about spending all of their time on a project or idea that will never get off the ground. they worry about their vision being wrong or realising their time is being wasted.
Regarding worry, the Enhancer takes the stance that others create their worry while they watch it happen. If a problem can be solved, there is nothing to worry about. If it cannot be solved, worrying will not do any good. It they are worried about something, it is beyond preparation and their ability to solve, even in small groups. They will never even present these things as problems, they will just give solutions. Nothing others worry about is likely to be of concern. They do not worry about things that are, at worst, a minor inconvenience. If others have wild expectations, they have none. An event will fail to meet others' expectations and they will look at the Enhancer - cool, calm, and collected and believe the Enhancer had a plan that they did not share. Others get mad at that. But all the Enhancer did was to have no expectations. They did nothing and it was more productive than others'approach.
. Time is valuable and it is a currency that is always being spent whether they are awake or asleep. A huge fear is that getting to the end or their life and realising they spent all that time on a misguided plan or a vision that never came to fruition. Enhancers should realise that all the great entrepreneurs and visionaries have failed at one point or another. e.g. Steve Jobs. Enhancers need to remember that there is something incredible to be learned from nearly every negative experience, so failure or no failure, there is no reason to give up hope. If it becomes apparent that there is no possible future value in plugging along on a project, that project should be binned and the Enhancer should move on, even if it means selecting neutral for a while.

Possible Disorders: Narcissistic personality disorder; Antisocial personality disorder; Schizoid Personality Disorder.

Procrastination Tendency: Unlikely. Rank 13/16.
